DSS and A directors

November 27, 1886 The DSS and A Directors Wednesday there were two extra cars attached to C and NW passenger No. 1. They were the ''Monon'' of the Louisville, New Albany and Chicago Ry., and No. 25 of the New York, Chicago and St. Louis Ry. -the Nickle Plate line. The cars contained the directors of the DSS and A, of which the MH and O is a part. The two cars were attached to engine no. 39 of the MH and O and baggage car no. 18, and were taken to Houghton in charge of engineer McCormick and conductor Johnson.  Manager John Hornby, of the MH and O met the directors here and accompanied them over the western portion of the road. The visit of the directors is for the purpose of looking over the two roads which will form a part of their new trunk line.
