This photo shows the components for the roadway being worked on.  Shown here are the center mall (median), two feet wide and four inches high. The center driving lane of open grid, eleven feet wide.  The outer lanes are of open mesh,  twelve feet wide filled with light weight concrete and topped with bituminous asphalt.
