Suspender cables for the Mackinac Bridge (3 of 4)

The devices in this photo are suspender cable bands which, when secured to the main suspension cable, will hold the upper end of the suspender cables.  This suspender cables will loop over the band and sit in a groove.  It acts as an equalizer for the cable.  The two ends will then attach to the roadway truss., Electronic reproduction of text.
