Horse Racing at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds, Norway, ca. 1915-1920: During the summer of 1915, the race track at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds was substantially improved through the efforts of farmers and horsemen from the Norway-Vulcan area. This postcard view, probably taken about this time, shows a large crowd watching a harness race. The grandstand could not accommodate all of the spectators. Note the judges’ stand at the right.
