This oral history interview is one of several on underground iron mining conducted by researcher Mary Tippett Andes for her book "The Last Generation Underground." Glenn Bjork (1925-2014) was born in Gwinn, MI to Everett Bjork and Emma Johns. After serving in the US Navy during World War II, Bjork moved to Negaunee, MI and began working for Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Company. He continued working for CCI until he retired in 1987.
