Note(s): |
Brunello discusses his grandfather, Luigi, who was the first to come to the United States. He bought land and built a house and barn. Brunello's father and two uncles also came over. He talks about growing up and other Italians who lived in the area. An interesting topic discussed is skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, which was introduced by Finnish immigrants. Prior to this, the Italians did not know about these modes of transportation in the snow. Cesaria Canelia and William and Reina Vittone also contribute. Interview conducted by Russell Magnaghi.
