Carl Pellonpaa discusses his work in television and radio in the Upper Peninsula, specifically his work on the Finnish television program “Finland Calling.” It is also a biographical interview. He discusses his parents’ immigration from Finland to the Negaunee/Ishpeming area, working in the mines, and being Finnish in the Upper Peninsula.
