This document is a somewhat inaccurate transcript of an interview with Americo Cantarella. Cantarella discusses the Depression, his family's grocery business in Detroit, the Brutzi Malazi Society, other Italian-owned businesses in Detroit, the 1967 Detroit race riots, the languages that he speaks, his family's Piedmontese background, how he met his wife, traditional food and wine, superstitions, farming, and music. His wife, Assunta, also speaks at times. Interviewer is D. Rubello.
