Garfield W. Hood became the tribal attorney for the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community (KBIC) in Michigan in 1972 and served in that capacity until 1990, when he became a judge in the KBIC tribal court system. This oral history interview with Judge Garfield W. Hood documents the history of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community tribal court and government. Judge Hood was interviewed by Debra Williams.
